DEPARTING CRANES     (81w x 48h)     SOLD     This piece was part of the Earth, Fire, and Fibre exhibit curated by the Anchorage Museum of History and Art in Anchorage, Alaska. A group of cranes take flight across a background pieced from a variety of wool suitjacket fabrics, polyester, linen, and rayon.

FIREWEED ON THE POND     (23w x 41h)     SOLD     Fireweed blooms against a hand-dyed cotton background. This piece won juror's choice by Dawn Toomey at the 2006 Alaska Fiber Festival in Anchorage, Alaska.

PAUSING TO PREEN     (48w x 51h)     SOLD     This piece was exhibited in the SAQA juried show Creative Force 2007 at the International Quilt Festival in Houston, Chicago, and Long Beach. In 2007 it was also juried into the Earth, Fire and Fibre show curated by the Anchorage Museum of History and Art in Anchorage, Alaska. It is constructed from recycled clothing and decorator fabrics.
