PIROUETTE 1     (46w x 47h)     SOLD     Uses a layer of hand-dyed silk organza over the secondary crane image to help create a sense of motion. Donated to Friends of Creamers Wildlife Refuge as a fund-raiser in 2008.

PIROUETTE 2     (48w x 37h)     SOLD     This piece was juried into the 64th Parallel show curated by the Pioneer Park Bear Gallery in Fairbanks, AK. Layers of fabrics were stitched through and then slashed to create texture. Uses recylced clothing in the cranes and other areas, hand-dyed and discharged fabrics.

PIROUETTE 3     (42w x 49h)     SOLD     Hand-dyed and screen-printed silk organza is layered over dyed and discharged cotton to create a background. The cranes are constructed from recycled clothing.

PIROUETTE 4     (42w x 49h)     SOLD     This piece received the President's Choice award in 2008 Quilt Visions/Quilt San Diego. Hand-dyed and screen-printed silk organza is layered over strips of dyed and stamped silk organza. The crane is constructed from recycled clothing.
